Saint Genevieve School receives a visit from
Bishop Daniel Thomas

Bishop Thomas visited the school on Monday, June 9 in the midst of a very hot and humid day. The Bishop spoke with students and encourage everyone to keep learning and share the faith. He asked the students questions and invited them to ask him questions. The most popular query was, "Aren't you hot in your black clothing?" Bishop Thomas showed his humor with a gentle chuckle and continued the dialogue.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Menna on the birth of your new daughter. We are so happy for you.

Reading Together with Radio Disney AM 640
Exciting
, Entertaining, Educational, Electrifying

PECO sponsored the educational program Reading Together with Radio Disney AM 640. The interactive show is designed to help students learn about electricity and how to use electricity carefully. Students read a book "Where'd All The Sparks Go?" in tandem with DJ Mickey and everyone danced to lively music with DJ Mickey, DJ Kenny, and the Party Patrollers, Mary and Candy. The Radio Disney Team, the teachers and students made the sparks fly.
