If you are looking for a good time in the fall where you can meet friends, play the whole time and even learn a thing or two, I have something that may interest you. It's called Lego Robotics. In Lego robotics there are three main parts: project builder, robot builder and field builder.
In field builder you work with your friends to create the obstacles and tasks that the robot completes. Don't worry about having to build the field from looking at a picture it comes with instructions.
In robot builder you work with a team of classmates to create and program a incredible robot out of legos. It is the most crucial part of the team and is a fun way to learn and play.
The third part is project builder. In this part, you study about a topic or theme and make a presentation to demonstrate it. The '06-'07 theme was Nanotechnology. This part is the most school related but it allows you more freedom than all the others. Perfect if you have a great out of the box idea!
